Sawmill Operator $18-$20+/hr depending on experience Your day would consist of doing these things:
Keeping work area neat and organized, making sure safety standards are being adhered to Logs are cut and kept loaded or staged at the sawmill Large beams are unloaded at sawmill Cants/Timber are taken off and stacked Edgings are taken off and bundled Blades are kept sharpened Daily operator inspection and maintenance checks are completed for equipment Able to assist in all other positions in sawmill area Blocks are cut and set-out for the yard team to pick up Photo of actual band sawmill were running https:
