Ability to work with others and work independently Strong communication skills Self-motivated Ability to lift 40 pounds Skills, Education, and Experience - Demonstrated plant care knowledge and identification proficiency Demonstrated weed identification and eradication methods Demonstrated proper pruning techniques based on plant health Knowledge of, and proper care, of basic gardening tools Computer skills; word processing, email, and internet basics Basic Qualifications - Knowledge of bed cleanup skills during the different seasons, have a working knowledge of ornamental and perennial plantings, as well as the ability to monitor pest and disease problems.
Possess the ability to supervise crew members, keep accurate records, problem solve, and communicate with customers.

Key areas of responsibility On-site work in a client's garden; clearing, cultivating, weeding, planting, transplanting, splitting, pruning, deadheading, fertilizing, mulching, etc.
